Saksan thrash-veteraani Sodom on julkaissut Rock Hard –festivaaleilla taltioidun livevideon vuoden 1992 ”Tapping The Vein” –levyltä löytyvästä kappaleesta ”One Step Over The Line”. Biisi löytyy yhtyeen myöhemmin tässä kuussa ilmestyvältä ”Partisan” EP:n digitaaliselta versiolta.
Sodom valmistelee uutta studiolevyä ja ennakoi tätä julkaisemmalla uuden EP:n ”Partisan” marraskuussa. Uusien ”Partisan” sekä ”Conflagration” -kappaleiden lisäksi mukana on ”Tired & Red” livetaltiointi uuden Sodom-kokoonpanon ensimmäiseltä keikalta Rock Hard –festareilta toukokuussa 2018. Yhtye nähdään Headbangers Ball kiertueella Euroopassa syksyllä 2018 yhdessä Exodusin, Death Angelin sekä Suicidal Angelsin kanssa.
”Partisan” EP julkaistaan SPV-levymerkin kautta 23.11.2018 CD:nä. 10-tuuman vinyyli sekä digitaaliset versiona tulevat myös saataville.

Germany/ Rock Hard Festival 2018 – The starting point for the new line up… after weeks of rehearsing it became true, we headlined the Friday at the legendary Amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen (Sodom’s hometown). One title was in our set list that we haven’t played in decades. ”One step over the line” is a guarantee for wild headbanging! This hit built our frame for the first live-video with the new line up! Sodom are back with a vengeance!
We’re a real family again. We all really enjoy the new lineup consisting of Frank Blackfire (guitar, ex-Sodom, ex-Kreator, Assassin), Yorck Segatz (guitar, Beyondition), Husky (drums, Asphyx, Desaster) and myself. There’s a real team spirit again, we’re having a great time together, and every one of us is interested in everything and – really important! – everybody is there for everybody else. Obviously that kind of atmosphere is bound to have a positive effect on the songwriting.
