Saksalainen metalliveteraani Accept julkaisee elokuun 2017 Wacken erikoiskonserttinsa “Symphonic Terror – Live At Wacken 2017” livepakettina marraskuussa. Show koostui kolmesta osasta, joista ensimmäisessä nähtiin ensiesitykset tuolloin julkaistun ”The Rise Of Chaos” –albumin kappaleista ”Die By The Sword” sekä ”Koolaid”. Toisessa setissä kuultiin kitaristi Wolf Hoffmannin soolomateriaalia yhdessä sinfoniaorkesterin kanssa ja lopuksi orkerterin sekä yhtyeen toimesta Accept-klassikoita. Yhtye aikoo myös toistaa konseptin kokonaisella kiertueella orkesterin kanssa Euroopassa kevään 2019 aikana.
”Symphonic Terror – Live At Wacken 2017” ilmestyy 23.11.2018 Nuclear Blastin kautta. Accept nähtiin Suomessa viimeksi pari viikkoa sitten Tampereen South Park –festareilla.
Hoffmann kommentoi livejulkaisua sekä tulevaa kiertuetta:
This was a mash-up of intensity and precision. The fans are extremely open-minded but I was nervous ’till the last minute before the show anyway. After all it’s still a metal festival! But I think that, after many years of ACCEPT combining both worlds, fans have started to really accept this concept. I really hope we will be able to fulfill our dream – we are working hard on it. What I can already say now is that there will be lots of optical and musical surprises, that fans of Accept have never experienced before. We want to multiply what we have achieved in Wacken and are happy about every bit of support we get. One thing is for sure: 2019 will be exciting!
