Hyvinkäällä 30.-31.10.2020 järjestettävä SteelChaos 2020 toteutetaan stream-lähetyksinä. Black metal -festivaali ei saanut järjestämislupaa paikallisviranomaisilta. Festivaaleihin osallistuvat bändit ovat kuitenkin suostuneet esiintymään myös streamattuna ja ovat jopa alentaneet esiintymispalkkioitaan.

SteelChaos 2020 festival arrangements complied with all the guidelines issued by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Education and Culture on preventing the spread of coronavirus infections. But still, local authorities decided to prohibit the event for audience.
With this virus hype cannot say it was total surprise. But waiting weeks to have authorities stance was surprise, really frustrating and consuming. Until this date we had to of course execute festival as normal, building, planning etc. etc.
BUT, when having this “one of a kind” SteelChaos 2020 line up you don’t give up, right ?
With line-up like this, it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I discussed about situation with SteelChaos 2020 artists, all wanted to support and do the gig anyway.
Most of the bands showed their support even cutting down their fee to make all this possible and execute whole SteelChaos 2020 line up still LIVE on STEELTV.
