Vuonna 2010 kuolleen metallilegenda Ronnie James Dion jäämistöstä huutokaupataan satoja esineitä 14-15.9.2018 New Yorkissa. Mukana on mm. Dion Elf-yhtyeessä soittama basso, vuoden 1987 ”Dream Evil” –sessioissa käytetty basso, alkuperäinen vuoden 1984 ”The Last In Line” –albumin illustraatiopiirros sekä kultalevyjä ja lavavaatteita. Julien’s Auctionin järjestämä huutokauppaa ennen New Yorkin Hard Rock Caféssa Times Squarella. Esineitä on yhteensä asiaankuuluvasti 666 kappaletta.
Dion leski Wendy kommentoi:
I am glad that Ronnie’s extensive collection of items will go to his fans, museums and collectors around the world to be displayed for all to see and enjoy. These items are very special to me but I recognize the historical importance of anything to do with Ronnie and he would want his fans to be able to own, enjoy and see these items for many years to come.
