Michael Schenker Festin odotettu livepaketti ”Michael Schenker Fest Tokyo” julkaistaan maaliskuussa. Tokio International Forumissa 24.8.2016 taltioitu konsertti sisälsi otteita kitaristin koko uran aikana ja mukana olivat laulajat Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet sekä Robin McAuley. Myös 1980-luvun alun MSG-rytmiryhmä Ted McKenna ja Chris Glen nähtiin lavalla. ”Michael Schenker Fest Tokyo” ilmestyy 2CD/BluRay/DVD/LP-versioina sekä digiltaalisessa formaatissa 24.3.2017. Schenker kommentoi julkaisua:
It’s a miracle that after all these years, something like this took place with the original band members of MSG. Being able to go back to those days and celebrate the music is an exciting experience for us, as well as for old and new fans. Being able to re-experience, and for the new audience to get a feel of what it was like, is incredibly enjoyable.
