Suomeen ensi helmikuussa yhteiselle keikalle saapuvat thrash-veteraanit Kreator ja Sepultura ovat julkistaneet lisätiedot tulevista uusista studiolevyistään, jotka julkaistaan ensi tammikuussa Nuclear Blastin kautta. Molemmat levyt on tuottanut Jens Borgen.
Kreatorin odotetun ”Gods Of Violencen” julkaisupäiväksi on asetettu 27.1.2017. Kannen on suunnitellut Jan Meininghaus. Yhtyeen keulamies Mille Petrozza kertoo seuraavaa levyn nimestä ja kansitaiteesta:
’Gods Of Violence’ was the very first song that I wrote for this album, and it stuck to me as the title track. It contains everything that KREATOR is known for and it will blow your minds. I promise! The cover of is a perfect reflection of my lyrical vision. I think this is Jan Meininghaus’s best work so far.
Sepulturan albumi tottelee nimeä “Machine Messiah”ja se ilmestyy 13.1.2017. Kansitaiteesta on vastannut Camille Della Rosa. Kitaristi Andreas Kisser on kommentoinut tulevaa levyä ja kantta:
I found the work of Camille Della Rosa during some research I was doing to look for alternative artists to work on the cover of our new album. I was really impressed by her style, full of colours and meaning, very unique and alive! The main inspiration around ’Machine Messiah’ is the robotisation of our society nowadays. The concept of a God Machine who created humanity and now it seems that this cycle is closing itself, returning to the starting point. We came from machines and we are going back to where we came from. The messiah, when he returns, will be a robot, or a humanoid, our bio-mechanical savior.
