| Kertokaa yhtyeenne taustatarina: | Antti and Arttu played together for a while in a band and Antti proposed they start a project together. Arttu was in as long as the music was black metal, having listened to it quite a lot when he was younger. Sharing a deep interest in northern mythology, they wanted to add a twist of northern folkish elements. The rest of the players were found quickly thereafter. Lauri was a wild addition, as Arttu found him randomly, while drinking beer in a local bar. And thus, the band was formed. |

| Minkälainen työnjako musiikin tekemisessä on: | At first Arttu wrote most of the songs, but now everyone is participating in songwriting, and the division is quite even. The narrative themes are bounced back and forth between Arttu and Antti, but Antti writes most of the lyrics. |

| Avatkaa uuden levynne/julkaisunne taustoja. Mikä on toiminut sen inspiraationa ja miten tuotos on syntynyt: | Kaarnaköydet tells the tale of fratricide and the existential dissonance around it. Themes of shame, guilt and loss are at hand. But also, a certain natural solitary reverence or katharsis that follows after a journey of sorrow and loss. We wanted to make an album that is whole and fits together seamlessly both thematically and music-wise.The sound of the album is rather heavy and ruthless, but the strong vocal choirs smoothen the roughness a bit. We are happy with how the mixing and mastering finish. Big thanks to Pekka Posio and Svante Försback. |
| Minkä bändin kanssa lähtisitte kaikkein mieluiten kiertämään maailmaa: | The metal scene in Finland is very much diverse and alive with bands mixing folkish elements with all kinds of metal. Maybe some of the bigger bands from the north, like Moonsorrow and Finntroll would be great to play with! |
