| Yhtyeenne esikuvat: | We are listening to different genres within metal music, therefore we are influenced by quite different bands and their sound. First of all we have to mention Gojira. Also Machine Head is always important for us when it comes to sound references. Then there are a lot of Deathcore Bands such as Whitechapel or Fit for an Autopsy which we listened to when we checked the master for example. |
| Kertokaa yhtyeenne taustatarina: | In the core this is our 10th year as a band. Back then we had a keyboard and played a very folkish and paganish style of Metal. On the first album you can find a mixture of Pagan-, Death- and Heavy Metal. On the second Album we went more into the Death Metal direction but still with a lot of synths. The Fifth Age of Man became a very orchestral album. Now with Anaemic nearly all the synths were kicked and the guitars are what make the songs very melodic.We never had a clear plan of what we want to do next it is more about growing while working on new material. Over the years the bands or genres we are listening to changed a bit or at least increased and this also is recognizable in the evolution of our music. |
| Minkälaiset tavoitteet yhtyeellänne on: | For now it feels that’s all about the music. Everyone of us got a lot going on in our private lifes and therefore we don’t have that much time to play more or became a touring band. We want to deliver good music and present it live whenever we got the opportunity and the time. Regarding the release of Anaemic the most important thing for us is to get as many people as possible to hear the new album because we are totally happy and satisfied with it. |
| Minkälainen työnjako musiikin tekemisessä on: | The division of labor shifted over the years, due to new members and personal changes in our lifes. For this album Andreas was writing most of the music and also Gerhard were involved in the genesis of the songs. Gerhard was also responsible for the recording (and mixing the prepro) of most of the stuff and he does all the social media. Matthias recorded the voices and does the communication between the label, the graphic designer and all those administrative things as well as most of the booking. Lukas wrote all the lyrics. |
| Millainen kokemus bändinne on livenä ja miksi yhtyeenne keikoille kannattaa tulla: | We try to be as professional as possible, so we set up our stuff fast and we kind of plan every concert very accurate. The songs of Anaemic are quite technical so we don’t drink before the shows and we try to warm up very good. For us it’s all about the music, so there’s not that much of a show around the songs. We stand 100% behind them so we perform them as good as possible and then they’ll speak for themselves and for us. |

| Avatkaa uuden levynne/julkaisunne taustoja. Mikä on toiminut sen inspiraationa ja miten tuotos on syntynyt: | The inspiration for the lyrics came from cruel stories mankind has written. They emerged in a story of the life of a whole new and totally fictive character who is getting crazy and evil more and more. Musically it’s hard to tell. Andreas is listening to a lot of new music and also attends loads of metal concerts. For sure he is inspired by all this music, but to reduce it to one band or one moment is not possible. |

| Jos uudelta levyltä/vanhasta tuotannosta pitäisi suositella kahta biisiä, niin mitkä ne olisivat ja miksi: | As a band it’s very hard to reduce it to just two songs because everyone of us has different favourites, but we agreed to Battering Ram because it transports the harder and Death Metalish face of our music the best. The second one would be Soothsayer because it combines the technical and melodic side with the Death Metal side the most. |
| Mikä musiikki kolahtaa yhtyeellenne juuri nyt: | We already mentioned Gojira above, we are totally into them. Also Deathcore is getting more and more important for us. Since a few years there is also a quite big Post Black Metal Scene growing in Austria and we totally support that and like the music of e.g. Harakiri for the Sky, Ellende, Karg and so on. |
