Horizon Ignited julkaisi uuden albuminsa ”Tides” 21. helmikuuta 2025 Reaper Entertainmentin kautta.

Take a deep breath and sink into the abyss for a while, for our third full-length album TIDES is here! We are proud to finally share this album with you all after working on it for so long. This is by far the darkest album we’ve done, but it still holds a sense of hope in the end.
The name Tides is quite fitting, since the journey it takes you on is full of emotional ups and downs. It drags you down into the bottom of the darkness and pushes you back to the surface, letting you find solid ground when it comes to an end.
We are super excited for this release and so thankful for our fans who have been so supportive throughout the years – thank you all! And if this is your first time listening to our music, we welcome you with open arms! We hope you enjoy your stay with us and look forward to seeing you all on the road.

“Surrender to the tides…”
Albumi äänitettiin yhdessä Swallow The Sunin kitaristin Juho Räihän kanssa Inka Studiolla Orimattilassa. Albumi miksattiin ja masteroitiin Isossa-Britanniassa Chris Clancyn (Machine Head, Kataklysm) toimesta. ”Olemme universumin mittakaavassa hyvin nuoria ja merkityksettömiä, mutta yhdessä työskennellessämme ja toisiimme tukeutuessamme voimme ehkä löytää merkityksen tässä kosmisessa tyhjiössä,” yhtye kertoo.

Yhtye julkaisi aiemmin albumilta singlen ”Ashes”.
Vokalisti Okko Solanterä: ”ASHES” is the final single before the release of our upcoming album ”TIDES” and it is definitely the doomiest song that we’ve done so far, which is fitting considering the fact that we have Jaakko Mäntymaa from Marianas Rest doing guest vocals on this track. Speaking of which, this is the first Horizon Ignited song ever to feature guest vocals!
The song takes you down deep into a dark abyss void of all hope. Humanity is doomed and all light is gone as the judgement of a mad god falls over the world. It’s super heavy and has a slower tempo, painting a depressing and gloomy picture of an end without hope. ”None shall be forgiven, no sin will be forgotten. Descend into damnation, eternal suffocation.”
One of our personal favourites from the album!
The music video was made by our very own Johannes Mäkinen who made his music video directorial debut with ”Welcome To This House Of Hate”. This video is much more serious and cinematic, fitting the song perfectly. Two days of hard work in the cold forests of Finland paid off and were worth all the effort!”
