Saksalainen Grave Digger on ilmoittanut kieltäytyvänsä useista muista yhtyeistä poiketen stream-keikoista ja esiintyvänsä faneilleen vasta kun se mahdollista toteuttaa entiseen tapaan keikkalavoilla elävän yleisön edessä. Digger lupaa sen sijasta poikkeustilanteen loppuun saakka julkaisevansa uuden albumin jokainen vuosi. Bändin seuraava levy ”Fields Of Blood” ilmestyy 29.5.2020. Albumilla bändi juhlistaa 40 vuotta kestänyttä uraa.

Dear friends and fans, we hope that you are all well out there. Due to the corona pandemic, we cannot play concerts for a long time. AND THAT’S REALLY crappy !!! For you as for us. Our live shows live on you, on your energy, your passion, your singing and your applause. Without that, there can be no live shows. Therefore, we have decided not to perform in front of cars or in concerts where a distance of 1.5 m must be kept and a protection mask must be worn, and we will not stream ghost concerts on the Internet. We will perform again when we get our freedom back for live shows. Only then we let it crack again.
BUT: We decided that we will release a new album every year as long as we can’t play live!!!
