| Yhtyeenne esikuvat? | I think there are some bands that could be named, because we are oriented towards both American and Swedish death metal. From this we then try to create our own style. We also use thrash and black metal influences and a lot of melodies, but I would say bands like Hypocrisy, Morbid Angel, Grave, Cannibal Corpse, Kataklysm and also old In Flames or Dark Tranquility |
| Kertokaa yhtyeenne taustatarina? | We started the band in 1994 as 14-year-old kids. After the first line-up changes, the first demo tape was released in 1997. Afterwards a demo CD and a full-length album were released. In 2008, the band was put on hold as some musicians moved away. In 2012 it was decided to bring the band back to life in its original line-up, and here we are, ten years and some line-ups changed later with our fifth album. Stronger and better than we ever were and on our way to our 30th anniversary |
| Minkälaiset tavoitteet yhtyeellänne on? | Of course, we want to become rock stars and millionaires. No, of course, that’s just fun. Our goal is of course to make the band better known and also to take the next step and to play on bigger stages in Germany and hopefully in the rest of the world |
| Minkälainen työnjako musiikin tekemisessä on? | In terms of music, all musicians are involved in songwriting. The lyrics are written by our singer Andy, whereby our bass player Sascha is also involved in writing lyrics. Our guitarist Stephan is our recording manager, as we record everything with him in home recording. He also takes care of merch orders. Our drummer Skobbi is responsible for mixing and mastering our albums, and our bass player Sascha is responsible for the label contact and also for interviews. Also the procurement of gigs is one of his tasks, here he gets a lot of support from Andy and Alex |
| Millainen kokemus bändinne on livenä ja miksi yhtyeenne keikoille kannattaa tulla? | Fun, joy of playing and simply pure energy. That’s what we offer on stage. And if you want to have a great party with music, then you come to our concert. On top of that, we still look very good at it |

| Avatkaa uuden levynne taustoja. Mikä on toiminut levyn inspiraationa? | “Death As A Process” is a concept album. Each song stands on its own, but each song is about death or some form of it. This is also reflected on the album artwork |
| Minkä bändin kanssa lähtisitte kaikkein mieluiten kiertämään maailmaa? | That’s a very difficult question because each of us has a different favourite band. I think we could all agree on Cannibal Corpse or Hypocrisy |
| Jos uudelta levyltä/vanhasta tuotannosta pitäisi suositella kahta biisiä, niin mitkä ne olisivat ja miksi? | Oh that’s not an easy question to answer, because every song on the new album has something special. But if I really had to highlight two songs in particular now, I would say the title track “Death As A Process” and “Necrolovicon”. The first one simply combines everything that makes Corrosive. It is fast and brutal, but also catchy and melodious. The second one is simply different and therefore stands out. Necrolovicon is actually a love ballad that is musically somewhere between Type O Negative and Paradise Lost |
