| Ketä yhtyeeseen kuuluu? | Steph is the lead singer, Eric is on drums, Fabien on bass and I (Greg) am the guitar player. |
| Mistä yhtyeenne on kotoisin? | We come from France. |
| Yhtyeenne esikuvat? | We are inspired by a lot of artists but the main influences come from bands like Symphony X, Iced Earth or Blind Guardian. |
| Kertokaa yhtyeenne taustatarina? | Parallel Minds was created in the early 2010’s. At first it was only Steph and I. We started exchanging some ideas and eventually decided to record our first album Headlong Disaster in 2015. Eric was recruited shortly after the release of this album because we wanted to make a real band out of this project. We had troubles finding our bass player so I had to record the bass myself on all 3 records we’ve done so far, but we found our guy, Fabien, and we hope he’s in it for the long run ! |
| Minkälaiset tavoitteet yhtyeellänne on? | Continue to make the music we love and hopefully attract a bigger audience without compromising our artistic vision. |
| Minkälainen työnjako musiikin tekemisessä on? | Steph and I are the main songwriters. Steph is in charge of the vocal melodies, lyrics and visuals, while I’m in charge of the music and the overall production. |
| Millainen kokemus bändinne on livenä ja miksi yhtyeenne keikoille kannattaa tulla? | We try our best capturing the essence of our songs when we play live. Our albums are very polished and have a lot of arrangements that we can’t fully reproduce live, so we focus more on the energy and the entertainment aspect of it. We sound really powerful live. |

| Avatkaa uuden levynne taustoja. Mikä on toiminut levyn inspiraationa? | It’s a thematic album, based on Science-Fiction stories. Each song is inspired by a movie or a book. We wrote this album almost like a soundtrack to a movie, so there are a lot of orchestral elements, keyboards and sound effects that create a big epic cinematic sound. Of course the more traditional Metal elements are still there as well. |
| Minkä bändin kanssa lähtisitte kaikkein mieluiten kiertämään maailmaa? | Metallica of course !! 😉 |
| Jos uudelta levyltä/vanhasta tuotannosta pitäisi suositella kahta biisiä, niin mitkä ne olisivat ja miksi? | Personally, I would pick The Greater Gift and Feel the Force, both from our new album. They really represent what Parallel Minds is all about. They’re powerful, emotional, complex and cinematic. |
| Mikä musiikki kolahtaa yhtyeellenne juuri nyt? | The last album I’ve listened to is the new Ghost album. Love this band. Not really an influence on our music though. |
| Muita asioita, joita haluatte kertoa yhtyeestänne: | Right now, we’re looking for live shows to promote the album as much as we can. We’re also on the very early stages of our next record. Exciting !! |
