Carcassin marraskuussa Decibel Magazinen kautta ilmestynyt uusi single ”Under The Scalpel Blade” on nyt virallisesti kuunneltavissa levy-yhtiö Nuclear Blastin toimesta. Kyseessä on ensimmäinen uusi kappale bändiltä kuuteen vuoteen ja ennakoi tulevaa studiolevyä, joka julkaistaan 2020. Albumi seuraa vuoden 2013 ”Surgical Steel”-pitkäsoittoa.
Yhtye on valmistellut levyä jo usean vuoden ja studiossa on vietetty aikaa syksystä 2018 alkaen.
