| Yhtyeenne esikuvat: | We are trying to make our own sound and be original, following the concept or horror themed orchestra soundtracks married with blackened death metal / extreme metal. So no big influences being done here, just concepts. |
| Kertokaa yhtyeenne taustatarina: | Well Caedeous was founded in 2014 by our leader Paulo J. Mendes, but it was only in 2017 that Paulo managed to have time to actually move forward with Caedeous due to other commitments in the music industry with his Elementia albums. In 2017 / 18 the first album was released followed in 2021 with a new complete lineup with the 2nd studio album Obscurus Perpetua, that lineup has grown stronger with new hirings that led to the third studio album in 2023 ”Malum Supplicium”. We are now currently working for taking Caedeous for live performances and stages. |
| Minkälaiset tavoitteet yhtyeellänne on: | Our goals are pretty straight forward, we are aiming to grow even stronger than we have before and achieve a better product over time (new albums), reach more fans and metalheads worldwide, and also to move Caedeous to live performances this year 2023 and 2024 which is currently a priority for us. A 4th album will be composed on 2024 and expected to be recorded in 2024 / 25 with a temptative release date of 2025. |
| Minkälainen työnjako musiikin tekemisessä on: | The division of labor is very well organized so the best output is achieved, that is, Paulo J. Mendes does the composition of songs, and Thomas Blanc the vocal lines and lyrics along with Rosmerta. Also in terms of management and investment Paulo J. Mendes is in charge aswell for hiring new session and studio / live musicians. Some of those hired musicians then became part of the lineup and are actually working with us on the guitar layers / drum layers and bass layers for the 3rd studio album and next albums. |
| Millainen kokemus bändinne on livenä ja miksi yhtyeenne keikoille kannattaa tulla: | So far Caedeous has been a mainly studio project, with no shows done. But we are moving forward in 2023 / 2024 with live performances being the upcoming pre-recorded live performance of Malum Supplicium release party to be released worldwide soon in youtube around 2023. Afterwards we will try to take it to live stages in Europe. The experience we try to bring is a complete horror experience with our dark sound. |

Mikä on toiminut sen inspiraationa ja miten tuotos on syntynyt: | The album was inspired by the horror stories and infernal books of writers such as Clive Barker and Dante Alighieri. We try to narrate a horror story in our conceptual album that describes either the nine circles of hell and its horror, or the eternal struggle and war between heaven and hell with earth and humans in-between. |
| Minkä bändin kanssa lähtisitte kaikkein mieluiten kiertämään maailmaa: | There are so many bands nowadays and it is very hard to tell, since we as a entity of musicians we love and admire, each of us has different tastes in sounding. But i would say probably Dimmu Borgir, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Septic Flesh. |
| Jos uudelta levyltä/vanhasta tuotannosta pitäisi suositella kahta biisiä, niin mitkä ne olisivat ja miksi: | We would recommend Cruxis Inferni and Pandemonium. Think those themes are one of the darkest and more agressive themes we have made so far, and it reflects the sound direction we are and will be following in the next albums as Caedeous develops into a full mature musical concept and band. |
| Mikä musiikki kolahtaa yhtyeellenne juuri nyt: | Well, once again we have all different tastes but we would say music from Lorna Shore, Archspire and Mental Cruelty. |
